Reviewing Replays

Replays have helped the game of baseball immensely, but there still needs to be improvements. First of all it always seems like the broadcasters, the players on the field, and the fans know the call before the umpires do. If a play is taking 5 minutes to be reviewed, like it did during the Braves and Cardinals game on Sunday, when Mike Matheny challenged a play at the plate that originally had Heyward called out. After the lengthy delay the call was overturned and it was determined that Heyward snuck his foot under the tag. Here is what the League needs to do with replays:
They need to start reviewing plays in New York before it's even challenged on the field so they can get a head start on making a call.
Let the players and fans know why the call stood, was confirmed, or was overturned. In hockey and football they use both hand signals and a microphone on the crew chief to let fans know the call and that is something we should be seeing next year in baseball.
